===== Agricultural land use and environmental indicators at 1x1 km grid resolution - Evironmental Indicators =====

The following indicators are available at NUTS 2 level and the level of clusters of 1x1 grid cells:

  * [[dokuwiki/doku.php?id=capri:concept:StockDens|Animal stocking densities]]
  * [[dokuwiki/doku.php?id=capri:concept:SpatYields|Irrigation shares]] and irrigation water abstraction
  * [[dokuwiki/doku.php?id=capri:concept:HNV|High Nature value farmland index]]

all expressed per ha of agricultural land.

The CAPRI nitrogen balance at the NUTS 2 level was used in the [[http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CELEX:52007DC0120:EN:NOT|Report from the Commission to the Council and the European Parliament on implementation of Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources for the period 2000-2003 {SEC(2007)339}]].

Regional [[econind.htm|economic]] and environmental indicators from CAPRI combined with results from the [[dokuwiki/doku.php?id=capri:concept:refrun|reference run]] were also the basis for "Section 2.3 Pprospect for selected rural development indicatrors" in the DG-AGRI report [[http://ec.europa.eu/agriculture/agrista/rurdev2007/RD_Report_2007.pdf|"Rural development in the European Union, Statistical and Economic Information, Report 2007"]].
