The aim of that task is to give an overview on the Meta data currently stored along with the numerical results of the different work steps. The Meta information is passed from the Graphical User Interface to GAMS when a work step is called, and then stored along with the numerical results in GDX files.
The task offers two views on the META data:
Pressing one of the buttons at the bottom of the window will start a scan through the sub-directories and GDX files of the current result directory. That step may take a while, as all files found will be need to be opended, the meta information retrieved and stored. Consecutive loads will usually only require time if the files where changed since the last load.
